AMA Red Carpet 2015

I didn’t get the chance to watch the AMA’s because I went to watch The Hunger Games…..ahhh it was such a good movie…except the ending. I’m sure they will be replaying the AMA’s again on TV or I can find clips on Youtube, but from other blog sites it sounded like it was a pretty good award show. I’m happy that Canada was there representing with The Weeknd and Justin Beiber but what I fail to understand is why do they always give “Best Rap Artist/Album” to Nicki Minaj? Is it because she’s a girl? I only listened to a couple songs off of her album and she has bars but Drake has been killing it this year especially with “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late”. What about J.Cole? I’m tired of seeing him get disrespected every award ceremony, “Forest Hills” was a GREAT album but still he rarely gets any recognition. Even at predominately “black” award ceremonies he still gets no love, always nominated but never wins. What’s up with that?

My slay queen was the AMA host, Jennifer Lopez. Someone is lying about her real age because she looks no older than 30! MY GAWD this woman is amazing and so were her awesome outfits throughout the evening. I was convinced after watching the red carpet that Ciara was going to take the “Slay Queen” title because she blew me away with that Reem Acra dress but Jenny from the block nailed it every single time.

I was very impressed with the fashion the graced the carpet last night. In previous award shows, the outfits have been lacking so much that I just didn’t even want to post about it because it would’ve been mostly worst dressed looks. Gigi Hadid has such a cute face but the rest of her is giving me all types of sexy! Ciara looks amazing but needs to stop with this revealing slayagery before she tempts my baby Russell Wilson and causes him to stumble. I know a couple of people would say that Paula Abdul is not wearing a very age appropriate outfit but an all sequins dress in black and gold?!?! She is a woman after my own heart and can do no wrong with this outfit on.
