Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

I am what you call a “skinny girl” and for the most part it has been a great living, but as I shop for certain skirts or pants I notice that some stores that I religiously shop at stopped carrying x-small sizes and only carry smalls. So I know what you are going to say, “Oh Em Gee! This x-small girl is worrying about how she can’t fit into size small clothing, what’s wrong with her, she’s so ungrateful, blah, blah, blah !”. I mean I understand that society’s idea of the “perfect woman” is a size 2, but I am not even a size 2, I’m lower than that and I just want to make it to a size 2 in order to be fully happy with my imperfect self. Yes I know #skinnygirlproblems, but I am sure there are other girls that can relate.

 

 Anyway, as I was looking up ways to gain weight I came across this website www.fitnessblender.com and it had different smoothies that will help. I decided to try the Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie and it is really good, really thick, and healthy. I altered the way that the website said to make it because when I came home from the grocery store I realized that I had yogurt but not vanilla yogurt…oh joy. Along with my smoothie I will be doing home workouts such as squats, lunges, sit ups and planking to help with this process, hopefully it works. My fellow skinny girls, try out the various smoothies on this website and see if it works for you. Happy weight gaining!

 

Here’s what I used:

 

1 Banana

 

2 tbsps of peanut butter

 

3 tbsps of dark chocolate chips

 

1 tsps of vanilla extract

 

1 cup of homogenized milk
