Street Art and Sarcasm

I am a creative person that likes to be around the arts; I also enjoy doing more things in the city than just going to your average dinner and a movie. Last month, I visited an art exhibit by Visual Artist, Patrice Nuelie, called “Self Portrait”. This installation was described as “a reflection of Nuelie’s emotional growth as a woman having experienced love and loss” and I really felt connected to what she was trying to portray through her art. With the blue and orange hues that represented calm and anger, cold and heat, sadness and rage, high and low, being someone who has gone through some battles in my own relationships, I totally related to her expressions.
