Friday is Bride Day: Posen Goes Bridal; Good…Sax
So I think that it is safe to say that I am OBSESSED with everything wedding related, I honestly should rethink my career for the 20th time and become a wedding planner. One of my favourite designers Zac Posen is came out with his “Truly Zac Posen” bridal collection for David’s bridal which has already launched in February. I meant to post weeks ago but I have been so preoccupied with fashion week that it totally slipped my mind. Sorry Zac, I still love you. The good news is now my fellow stylish frugal fran’s and I can indulge in the luxury of being able to wear a high fashion designer at an affordable price. What more can a girl ask for?
Something that can add a nice touch to any wedding ceremony/cocktail hour/reception is the sweet soundings of a saxophone spreading love in the air. It is one of those instruments that have a “feel good” vibe attached to it; it is also one of the instruments that played a part with me falling in love with jazz music. The saxophone is nothing without the person who knows how to play it and my good friend, Charles Mills, knows exactly which buttons to push. He is a musician based in Toronto and he can make any song, whether it’s of an R&B or Rap genre, sound like a heavenly smooth dream (you know those ones, I have them all the time, and I always end up becoming a princess). For whatever event you are having whether it is a wedding or you need a sultry vibe on a track that you are working on, Charles Mills is that guy.
