Lavish Style | Do You See Me?
Sunshine lollipops and rainbows, lemon drops… You can clearly tell that I am so excited for summer to be officially here! I’m trying to change my style a bit and dress a tad more classy. I mean, I’m not out here wearing booty shorts (vacation is a different story) but I always lean toward wearing a cute mini skirt that I think is not that short for me because I am a petite girl. I saw this skirt (at a steal price for $10) and thought that it was time to dress more lady like, kind of Michelle Obama-esque, but showing a bit more skin. I decided to pair the skirt with a black and white striped crop top because I have an undeniable obsession with black and white stripes and because it would give the look a bit more edge. I kept this outfit more of a casual vibe by adding sleek kicks because I just didn’t feel like wearing heels.
For those of you who know me know that I refuse to permanently colour my hair especially since I have been growing it natural for 3 years but because of the summer time I was itching to bring some summer flare to my hair. Clip ins never work for me because texture of my hair never matches. So instead of using dyes and chemicals, I found liquid hair chalk by L’oreal, all you have to do is apply it to dry hair and blow dry the areas where you put the colour and VOILA!
Music That I’m Feeling
Roy Woods- Gwan Big Up Urself
KB and I are always sharing music with each other, so she put me onto this song and it was literally on repeat for the whole day. The island vibes got me amped for our upcoming trip to J.A.
