The Pampering of the Lavish One
Last weekend was my weekend of freedom!!! I was finished school forever and wanted to celebrate. The only way I know how is to celebrate lavishly, so my mains (-1) and I went to the Trump Hotel Spa to indulge in a luxurious pampering session. Every one at the spa was so nice and willing to help us out with anything. We were provided with REALLY SOFT bath robes and a pair of flip flops. It was great because it was only the 3 of us there in the whole spa, so we could play around the spa and do what ever we wanted and there was no one to bother us. The massage was amazing and relaxing with heated beds and at the end of the massage my RMT told me my problem areas and what I should do to avoid tension in my muscles.
I also received a facial which was…okay…but I have had better, I should have gotten a pedicure instead. My skin did look rejuvenated though.
After our treatments, the girls decided that they wanted to play some more so they got their hair done by “Fabio” (I’m pretty sure his real name is Greg…lol) So while they continued to get pampered I was indulging in the caramel popcorn and green tea that they provided for us and got caught up on some much needed girl talk.
Overall, this was a great experience to see what living in luxury is like and since I am a lover of lavish things, I will be coming back to this spa. It’s because I am bougie and enjoy the finer things in life…lol. Money comes and goes and I know that obviously it is a smart decision to save all the money you can to buy a car, house, and live comfortably but I believe that sometimes you need to treat yourself for all the hard work that you already have and are accomplishing. I just finished school with honours all while working the grave yard shift and getting minimal sleep in order to pay for life, so I think I deserve a little “me” time and pamper myself in the most lavish way possible.
Live your life to the fullest and try to enjoy everything it has to offer. If you are just working until you die just to pay bills and not enjoying your hard earned cash then you aren’t really living are you?
You were given life, live it lavishly…
